A & B GRADE GRAND FINAL

After last weekends washout both the A & B Grades go into the Grand Final.
The A Grade playing Charlton at Birchip
Charlton batted first and were all out for 237
Matt Nicholls 3/42, Shane Harrison 2/34, Jackson Keane 2/18
Wyche were all out for 79. Jackson Keane 19, Nick Coles 16.
Charlton batting again were all out for 90

At stumps the Demons were 5/88 needing another 161 to win

The B Grade playing St Mary's at Hopetoun.
Batting first the Demons were all out for 158

ROUND 15 vs BEULAH 20th & 27th Feb

The A Grade played at Wycheproof in a 2day game, Batting first Wycheproof were all out for 286.
Rick Allan 117 not out, Jackson Keane 44, Nick Coles 41, Jono Grylls 24, Peter Coles 20, Corey Harrison 12.
At stumps Beulah were 7 for no wicket.
After 60 point of rain on Friday night the game was washed out.

The B Grade played a one day game at Beulah
Batting first Beulah were all out for 73 & in reply Wyche passed the score 3/79.

The finals start on Saturday, The A Grade play Brim at Hopetoun and the B Grade play Birchip at Warracknabeal

ROUND 14 vs JEFFCOTT 6th & 13th FEB

The A Grade playing Jeffcott at Donald.
Batting first, Jeffcott were all out for 98, Bowling- Rick Allan 4/15, Matt Nicholls 2/23, Nick Coles 3/32.
In reply at stumps Wyche were 6/140, Rick Allan 45, Jono Grylls 23, Nick Coles 23, James Allan 18, Matt Nicholls 19.

ROUND 13th vs BRIM KSH 24 & 30 th JANUARY

Sunday saw the start of the 2 day games with the A Grade playing at Brim
Brim batted first and were 7/197 after 64 overs
Bowling- Rick Allan 3/50, Matt Nicholls 2/42, Nick Coles 2/25.
Day 2- Wyche batting were all out for 189
Nick Coles 58, Rick Allan 58, Peter Coles 23, Matt Nicholls 22.

At Wycheproof the home side batting first were 6/318 at the end of the day
Batting- Eddie McNicol 120 not out, Dennis Baker 84, Brett Tisdale 61,George Turner 16.
Day 2- Wyche won, no details.

ROUND 12 16th JANUARY

Cricket resumed after the Christmas break with the A Grade having a bye and the B Grade playing Birchip.
Round 11 was not played due to the extreme heat.
The B Grade played second placed Birchip at Wycheproof.
Batting first Wyche were all out for 177, Nick Coles 77, Denis Baker 55, John Durie 17, Eddie McNicol 15 not out.
In reply Birchip were all out for 106, Brian Allan was the destroyer with 8/17.

CURRIE CUP 2009

On Sunday 27th Dec the Club held the annual Currie Cup, this is the 6th time with Wycheproof winning 5 out of the six.

The A Grade played Charlton at Wycheproof
Wycheproof batting first were 8/180 after their 40 overs

Both A & B Grade had wins- no details available

ROUND 8 vs RICH AVON SERVICES 5th DECEMBER

The A Grade played at home with Rich Avon Services batting first and were all out for 127
Bowling- Corey Harrison 4/14, Nick Coles 3/23, Shane Harrison 2/22.
In reply, Wyche made 133 for the loss of 5 wickets, Ashley Durie 28 no, Matt Nicholls 25, Dale Crawford 25, Nick Coles 23, John Durie 19, Jackson Keane 19.
The B Grade batting first  made 4/258 from their 40 overs, Tait Nicholls 67 no other scores available.
In reply Rich Avon Services were all out for 95.


The A Grade are third with 27 points, level with St Mary's also on 27 points
The B Grade are on top with 39 points from St Mary's & Birchip on 33 points

ROUND 7 vs St MARYS 28th NOVEMBER

Both A & B Grade games were washed out

ROUND 6 vs CHARLTON 21st NOVEMBER

There were no A Grade games due to the league participating in a 20/20 tournament in Hamilton
The B Grade played Charlton at Wycheproof
Charlton batted first & at the end of their overs were 9/110

ROUND 5 vs BEULAH / HOPETOUN 14th NOVEMBER

The A Grade played at Hopetoun and chasing a small total of 133 did not make the required runs
Beulah/Hopetoun batted first and made 133
Bowling- Rick Allan 5/25, Matt Nicholls 2/34, R Senior 2/9.
In reply Wyche/Narraport were all out for 103.
Batting- Jacko Keane 47, Ash Durie 13, Dale Crawford 12.

The B Grade were to play at home but Beulah / Hopetoun could not get a side due to harvesting


Junior Cricket played their 3rd game at home, after winning the premiership last season the side has lost most of their players, so this year they have a very young side and as a matter of fact you are looking at our under 16 football side for 2010.(take out Tom Trewin & Jack Morrison and add Robert Fawcett) & thats all we have.

ROUND 4 vsJEFFCOTT 7th NOVEMBER

After a weeks break for the races the A Grade played Jeffcott at home.
Batting first Wyche were all out for 278, Corey Jones leading the way with 111 not out.
Batting- Corey Jones 111 no, Matt Nicholls 42, Jono Grylls 30, Ashley Durie 38, Jacko Keane 21.
In reply Jeffcott were all out for 120

In the B Grade Jeffcott batted first and were all out for 84
Bowling- Jed Bish 4/17, Eddie McNicol 3/10, Bill Keane 1/15, John Durie 1/5.

ROUND 3 vs BRIM 24th OCTOBER

The A Grade played at home, Brim batted first and were all out for 205

The season started well with both A & B Grade having a win
The A grade traveled away with ANA Boolite batting first and were all out for 128

Playing at Home the B Grade batted first and were all out for 138
